Originally from Iowa, John and his wife Michelle have made the City of Minnetonka home.  They have two children, Jordan (17) and Zeke (10), who are both very active in many school and athletic activities.  John is part of a local Minnetonka business that is focused on supporting large retail businesses in the US.  He has spent many years traveling to Asia and around the world, helping companies develop, produce and better consumer products.

He has served on several boards and commissions over the last several years, including serving as a Board Member on the Hopkins School Board.  John is a steadfast believer in the power of individuals to make change, and is passionate about equity in education.
